As Bolinhas
Every summer, sellers of Berliners – cream-filled doughnuts without a hole in the middle – fill the Portuguese beaches.
Bolinhas is an app developed to make it easier for customers to find Berliner sellers on the beach. After opening the app, the user searches for the seller closest to them, checking in real time the stock and the different flavors of each seller’s delicacy. The user then places the order by selecting the quantity and type of Berliners.
The order is sent to the seller who, via georeferencing, identifies the place where the customer is located. When the seller is 10 meters away, the customer is notified and can even see in the app the icon representing the seller approaching to know the distance they are at. The app’s branding was developed to convey the visual identity, aligned with the company’s value propositions, and to promote a better customer management and experience with the aim of increasing the app’s impact. The interface and featutes were designed to generate value and establish consistency with the brand positioning, from the visual component, to the way support messages are sent.
