Descrição do projeto
ICAM
The ICAM project consists of an algorithm that automatically updates a database on a daily basis with all new scientific publications indexed in the three main biomedical repositories: PubMed, BioRxiv and MedRxiv.
The project has a team of volunteer reviewers composed of doctors, researchers and medical students who systematically review the new publications, identifying the most relevant articles and creating a synopsis in Portuguese for direct publication on the associated website, with all the information aggregated by area of clinical relevance to facilitate consultation. The platform also allows subscription to alerts on updates within specific areas of interest and a link to access the revised original articles.
The sharing of scientific knowledge is fundamental to assist the performance of health professionals in combating the OVID-19 pandemic, considering the remaining uncertainties regarding the new coronavirus.
This open platform provides rapid access to relevant and up-to-date scientific information on OVID-19 by health professionals to support them in their daily clinical decision making.
